Chicken Diva

Hello everyone,

For the past few weeks, my class and I have been doing a piece of art based on chicken divas. Everyone in my class did a head of their chicken divas, and some other people did a whole body of their chicken divas. But I did something very different than theirs. I did an eye the shows what the pashent looked like. It was based on kids judging and parents judging the chickens on the run way. What I found hard was the pasteling all of the little chickens.What I found easy was deceratioing my art work. You can see my work below.

Planning x - mas decorations

Hello everyone,

My class was making Christmas decorations for a whanau evening at my school and we are fun rising for our team moana ski trip next year.  Before we did all the fun stuff we did a planning on a google drawings. For my decoration I did a wreath. If you don't know what a wreath is well it is like what you hang on your door and has leaves and cherries on it. Well here is my planning on my google drawings.

Today we made fruit art. It was very hard but Mrs D an Mrs B helped us and we got it done so thats good.

My Art Term 4

This term we have completed two pieces of art.

One was inspired by an artist named Kadinsky who used coloured circles in his work. We looked at the contrast between warm and cool colours and the black and white of the buildings.

Our second piece was using the Maori words we have learnt and using these to create a visual picture. The words become the shape of the picture.

Some things I did well were trying my hardest on my word and doing it nice.

One thing I could improve on is working a bit faster on my work.

Koru Weaving Art Term 2

Self portrait art

We have been working on using different art techniques to draw our faces. We have used sketching pencils to sketch our faces, making sure we made our facial features an accurate shape, size and putting them in the correct places.

We learnt about Picasso’s style and made our own funky Picasso portraits.
